Project Management including budget, project schedules, and working closely with related staff to assure quality programming during our capital campaign renovation. I worked closely with all of the Museum’s department heads to internally manage our Museum’s large scale renovation. Creating a series of internal notebooks to catalog all of the materials used during renovation for future maintenance efforts.

Research and contract procurement for temporary exhibits to fill the museum’s calendar for a three to five year cycle. Managing Port Discovery’s traveling exhibit program including scheduling, contracts, and budget. Responsible for the receiving and final shipping out of exhibits after their time at the Museum.











Research, design, and material procurement of exhibit spaces that were being renovated internally and for the design and construction of new exhibit spaces. During our renovation, and public closure, we constructed and operated out of two temporary play spaces.


I worked under an expedited timeline with the Exhibit Director and Exhibit Fabricators to create a rocket-ship themed activity to coordinate with our NSSI Sun, Earth, Universe exhibit in our temporary-operating space, during the main Museum’s closure.












 

Research and contract procurement for sites with in the Baltimore County Public Library System to host our two in-house traveling exhibits, built by NSSI, Nano and Sun, Earth, Universe. I was responsible for the curation of these exhibits layout and play components.



Design, Development, and Fabrication of a rotating display window with in the Studio Workshop Activity/Exhibit space.










Design, Development, and Fabrication of new props for our Royal Farms and Diner themed exhibits. I also performed prop maintenance, upheld exhibit integrity, and the styling of the exhibits during my time at the museum. Taking time to ensure each guest had a fulfilling, rich, active play experience.


Research and testing for age appropriate long lasting props (toys) for our permanent exhibit spaces with in the museum.












Working with Elizabeth Yashnuk (currently the Visual Arts Coordinator) to design and create an DIY Drawing Robot program for our studio workshop exhibit, ages 5-14.






I worked with the Studio Workshop manager to graphically re-design programming materials to be more pragmatic and playful for our guests.
