I dreamed of Geanie in a purple gel lit pool she reminded me that “sugars n’ spice n’ everything nice… that’s what little poisonous plants are made of!” Kitchy compartmentalization with offset entry points allow me to explore what is the ‘almost’ but not quite, by playing with perceptual intensity, micro-gestures, and invisible domicile spaces.

The installation of the laboratory scene may seem messy and unfamiliar, it lays teetering on the edge of this reality and one a mere ten minutes away. Familiar objects enable a breaking moment into that perceptual space, they open up a ‘crack’ in the ‘normal,’ something still easily understood but in a new context.

Working in interdisciplinary mediums, utilizing color, form, paint, wood, print, and various publication mediums allow me to create art works that engulf you into an unadulterated desire to play, explore, experiment, and question your surroundings with a sense of childish enthusiasm.
